Bathroom Renovation

This six foot by ten foot bathroom features a custom-built cherry vanity and cherry trim work over a heated tumbled-marble floor. The stainless steel vanity top and the bath surround for the half-sunken tub were custom fabricated for the application.

Fireplace Screens

These designs for custom fireplace screens are executed in stainless steel tubing with stainless steel mesh screens. Each are specifically designed and fitted to a particular fireplace front and insert shape. Creating unique solutions from quality materials for a customer’s requirements is a Metropolis specialty.

Built-in Bookcases

This set of bookcases was designed and installed to fit a full wall for a reading room in a historic home. The original baseboard trim was brought forward and refitted to make the bookcases appear as a seamless part of the original room.

Built-in Entertainment Installation
Designed and built specifically for an attic entertainment space, this custom built-in set of bookcases and shelves fits neatly into the knee-wall area. The project features a multi-axis extendable and pivoting bracket for the 52 inch plasma screen to keep the show facing the audience. All the wiring for the AV equipment is hidden behind the installation and the unit is finished to match the existing trim in the room.
